KramCast Episode 5
In this week’s episode we were joined by Paul Kerber, the head coach of the Bowness Trojans’ senior boys football team.
The Trojans own a sparkling 4-1 record, which is especially impressive considering that they’re coming off a three game stretch where they faced the 5-0 Notre Dame Pride, the 4-1 St. Francis Browns and the 3-2 Bishop O’Byrne Bobcats. The Trojans came through that stretch with a 2-1 record, and now find themselves in a solid position to at least hang on to second spot over all.
But one of the topics that Kerber talked about was finding a way for his team to avoid complacency as they finish off the regular season. After all, going in to the playoffs on a roll can do a lot to help a team’s confidence as they look for an edge in games that all of the sudden mean that much more.
